After art directing and designing music covers and band merchandise for many high profile acts, we decided to do it for ourselves, and set up urbanwear label UniForm in 97. The brand has grown organically over the years and has received incredible press attention and exposure, especially in the music and design communities. Our bold, graphic approach combined with subtle wit which has been expressed on T-shirts, sweats, beanies, bags and badges has gained wide appeal with retailers in UK, Europe and around the world. DJ:SBR The inspiration for the DJ:SBR range comes from the DJ and Snow BoardER mentality. Grafting these two cultures together resulted in a state of mind that is completely in tune with urban life today. as MixMag put it: “…should suit you down to the ground, or sticky dancefloor, depending on where you are standing”.
Doodle Doodle is a collection with random sketches and short stories - a stream of consciousness, if you will, from the brain of Paul West, UniForm’s co-founder and illustrator/designer. we at UniForm decided these doodles needed elevating onto clothing and accessories. If you like talking rock dogs and dancing mice then Doodle is for you.
OP We are major fans of Op Art (hence the name, anoraks) and its ‘pop/psychedelic’ influences throughout all forms of art, moving image and music. So, we immersed ourselves in the worlds of colour, graphics and sound to produce this distinctive range which displays UniForms hallmarks of detail, wit and iconic imagery. Stand OUT, people - in the street, in a bar, in a club, there’s no avoiding the impact of this range! And there’s a dog wearing headphones too.
