With next year being the Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee we asked some key players how the events industry will harness the feel good factor from these 2 benchmark events…

Justin Clarke, CEO – Taste Festivals:

“Although the two events are completely different, the Queens Jubilee and the Olympic Games are bound to have a massive effect on the events industry. I believe peoples attitudes will be more open to new experiences and there will be an increased sense of community and pride, but the fact is, no one actually knows. For the events industry there appear to be two options; role the dice and get involved or keep a low profile and let the occasions pass (and maybe just visit!). The first option sounds more fun but also a lot more risky”.
